2 Dry Flex
This is designed for use in conjunction with Dry Fix. It is used like an
ordinary filler to replace the decayed wood and can be applied at any thickness
no building up in layers for deep repairs. Because of the
high slump resistance it can be applied vertically in one. When cured
the characteristics of Dry Flex are just like wood.
- Flexible
- Can be planed, sawn, drilled, routed, nailed and screwed
- Good impact resistance and does not shatter
- Can take metal fixings and weight e.g. door or opening pane.
This shows the high bond strength between the wood and the resin. The essence of conservation is to keep as much of the original as possible, and the Window Care System is designed for insitu repair of wood affected by decay.
